ENTRY FEES
Competitor: £15.00 per event (i.e. 3 events £45.00)
Spectators: £10.00 (5 years old & under FREE)
Team Events: £10.00 per 2-person team. To be paid & entered on the day.

OFFICIALS
**PLEASE WEAR YOUR OFFICIALS WRISTBAND TO GAIN ENTRY**

Officials: Officials must register before the event, stating their qualifications.

Officials Uniform: Officials t-shirt, grey or black trousers and sports shoes.
DO NOT WEAR A SHIRT & TAGB TIE

** You must arrive by 9.30 a.m. otherwise you will be asked to pay to enter.
Bring your black belt licence book for stamping to record your attendance.

Officials must register with their instructor before the entry deadline date

Food will not be provided for officials at this event.

PATTERN DIVISIONS
All competitors must perform a pattern of their grade from the list below.

Juniors
All junior pattern divisions are as follows.
Yellow (9th Kup to 7th Kup)
Green (6th Kup to 5th Kup)
Blue (4th Kup to 3rd Kup)
Red (2nd Kup to 1st Kup)
Black (All Dan grades together)
Boys & Girls in separate divisions

Adults
All adult pattern divisions are as follows.
Yellow & Green (9th Kup to 5th Kup)
Blue & Red (4th Kup to 1st Kup)
Black (All Dan grades together)

TAG TEAM SPARRING DIVISIONS

MALE:
3-person team. Open Grades & No weights

FEMALE:
3-person team. Open Grades & No weights

JUNIORS: (boys and girls separate)
3-person team. Yellow/Green belts together – Pee wee – less than 137cm
3-person team. Yellow/Green belts together – Lightweight – less than 152cm
3-person team. Yellow/Green belts together – Heavyweight – 152cm and above

3-person team:  Red/Black belts together – Pee wee – less than 137cm
3-person team:  Red/Black belts together – Middleweight – above 137cm

All junior teams are under 15 years old and all senior teams are 16 and over.

Cost £10.00 per team.
ENTRY ON THE DAY.

ULTIMATE WARRIOR
This is a new trial event for Black Belts only.
This will be an open-weight event.
Junior and adult divisions.
Males and females compete separately.
£15 entry fee on the day.

On the day each competitor will be matched with another competitor by officials who will attempt to match by weight as closely as possible in each round.
Each competitor will compete in each of the recognised competition disciplines (patterns/sparring/destruction).
1. Pattern – Both competitors perform together and five judges chose their favourite
with a point being awarded by each judge. (Max 5 points available)
2. Destruction – Both competitors choose the number and colour of boards to break
and perform a break of their choice, with five judges choosing their favourite, according to the following criteria
i. Breaks are to be preferred over non-breaks
ii. Bent boards are only considered where the opponent does not break
iii. More/stronger boards are not determinative unless the same technique is chosen.
iv. Any dispute settled by the head judge whose decision is final.
Eg a 360 back kick to a single white board may be preferred by the judges over a side kick to 2 boards.
Junior will also be able to compete with the destruction being substituted for a power test to a focus pad or air shield.
(Max 5 points available)
3. One round of point-stop sparring – The scores from the previous 2 events will be recorded on the competitor’s individual card with the bout finishing after two minutes
or one competitor reaching a maximum score of 20 points. The maximum points available from sparring will be 20 unlike in a normal point stop so a competitor who has scored no points in patterns or destruction could make up the deficit and win.
