As part of our Tigers Martial Arts programme, we also incorporate key life skills, such as;
and many more skills that will help your child at school, in their exams and in everyday life. As Tigers work through their syllabus, they receive a certificate and belt for each assessment they complete. Working through the Tiger belt system is an amazing steppingstone into Martial Arts and great preparation for moving up to the Junior Tae Kwon-Do classes.
So often when we think of martial arts, we imagine the adults in the class. We forget that there should also be opportunities for the younger generation as well, junior martial arts.
When you choose martial arts for your child, you’re giving them great opportunities to learn what we see as the core aspects of martial arts. Confidence, discipline, control, and respect.
In essence, these are core aspects we’re trying to teach when we’re trying to teach these younger ones about martial arts. In other words, martial arts teaches us about ourselves—and it helps teach our children what’s important as well.
MPowered Junior Martial Arts is designed to provide kids with that confidence and the self-defence skills they need to be safe on the playground today and in life tomorrow. Never worry about your child’s safety again. There’s more than one way to become strong!
So, say goodbye to stress and hello to confidence. Our junior programme provides children with physical and mental health benefits. Start your child’s junior martial arts journey today and empower them with skills that will last a lifetime.
Even though junior martial arts classes are designed for children, they grow fast, many people still treat them differently. They don’t offer the same kind of attention, support, or encouragement. Many kids turn away from sports or activities because of this reason alone.
Become a martial arts parent and give them the confidence they need to tackle any challenge in their future life. Junior does not mean inferior.
Today’s world is tough, and it keeps getting harder for teenagers. This is why we believe that martial arts for teenagers is the best solution. Our Cadet’s programme is for 12-17 year olds.
The very foundation of our cadets’ programme is essential, so the education and development of life skills are key.
These include a positive mental attitude, goal setting, perseverance, self-control, and confidence.
As soon as children hit puberty, people start treating them differently. Our martial arts for teenagers’ classes are designed for teens. So many people still treat them as children, yet they want to be treated more maturely, more as an adult. They often don’t get the right kind of attention, support, or encouragement they want or need. Many teens turn away from sports or groups because of this reason alone.
It’s our goal to create a safe and encouraging, learning environment. A place where they can learn self-defence and discipline, whilst getting fit, without being ridiculed for their mistakes. This sense of belonging will boost their confidence. This will enable them to deal with high-pressure situations, because they have to face this on a daily basis, through either school, college, or home life.
Our classes are a superb way for teenagers to get be active with their peers, sharing similar goals and standards. Because we expand their network of friends with positive influences and activities, they’ll increase their social skills.
They also work on improving focus, leadership skills, respect, and discipline among others – enabling them to achieve success both inside and outside the training hall!
Parenting should not have to be a stressful task you face alone, so let us help you equip your teenager for success in the real world. Your child’s potential is waiting. Start their martial arts journey today and empower them with confidence, focus and self-defence skills that will last a lifetime.
